Classic restaurant that gives nostalgia. Famous for prawn noodle, however it’s overpriced at RM45 that one could get for RM30 elsewhere. I tried the zhao chai hu ngan, another local dish. It was better than the other one I tried.

Recently revisited this old established restaurant famed with their novelty big prawns noodles. Once I stepped in, it seems like time stood still here, where the interior and furniture has never changed. Had the big prawns noodles which was very nice and tasty but have to say not the best in Sibu. The interior could well do with some house keeping and upgrading of the worn furnitures.

Still one of the best (& probably oldest) places for fabulous prawn noodles in Sibu! Their other foods are great too! The cafe is took over old bank premises.

Want to try a bowl of Tiger prawn noodles that costs you a staggering RM30.00 then you come to the right place. This Hock chew restaurant serve their traditional cookery of prawn noodles unlike in West Malaysia taste not bad but the price will frighten you. 4 of us paid a staggering RM150.00 for noodles and drinks. Dare to try then come to Sibu, restaurant is located about 30 meters from the Tua Pek Kong temple.
